I recently attended a student forum. We discussed the fact that a student will change his major 3 times on average while attending college. Some students on the panel claimed they have friends that have changed majors as many as 9 times!
It seems that the "discovery" process in finding a fulfilling career is a difficult one for many students. In many cases, it's down right stressing and scary.
For many years, I've enjoyed discussing, interviewing, quizing, and observing people that have thrived, survived, and even hated the profession or line of work that they retired from or are currently in.
I've decided to "formalize" my research to find avenues to assist students in a practical, informative, and low-stress way of discovering a career or vocation where they can excel to their own unique greatness!
